To assist in this effort, we provided bone lots from selected features assigned to Phase 4 in MZ12 and MZ14. (He already has identified horse bones from Phase 5.) As a part of this effort, mkb examined the pottery from f144, f162, f218, f241, and f249. The results are positive assignments to Ph 4a for all but f162, which had few sherds and none of those were diagnostic. f 144 df a ns Phase assignment based on pottery analysis by mkb.
