Stratigraphic reasons of assignment 2012-10-09 lc this feature is assigned to s17a because despite is right on top of baked brick pavement uncovered by pit f189 dug during Khabur period, it probably (as also pottery shows) belong to the reddish material coming from the collapsed Palace walls. The other assignment possible is to s23c but it seem less probable. [Input: WX09LC.j]
Notes on time sequencing 2005-11-13 mKB sherd types look similar to those in f165 and must also date to Phase 4; it is possible that this feature is transitional to Phase 5 because it contains 1 Khabur painted jar sherd, but this is uncertain because it has no bitumen painted sherds characteristic of phase 4b.Phase 4 sherds include bowl with rounded carinatio and beaded rim, S ware smal isk base, S ware small ring base, S ware radial burnished bowls [Input: P902MKB.j]
