Description/Count
Description 2005-8-21sC f197 is a natural accumulation in k14 that covers almost the whole unit (it does not extend in the NE corner of k14 where another feature number have been assigned, f198). It is characterized by a brownish colour and by a fine clay and sandy texture. It is below f162 and it is similar to f162 (we could say that f197 is a transitional feature between f162 and f150 (located in k4 at almost the same elevation of f197) because, as well as f162, its matrix is charachterized by a concentration of little pebbles (which are all of the same dimensions, aproximately 0.1 - 0,2 cm in diameter), that may indicate that we are still in front of a water deposit (situation that characterized all this area in the previous features). But, the texture (very fine), the color (brownish) and the nature of the soil (sandy and clayish) differ completely from f162.
