Stratigraphy

Phase 3uJ2B is a period of continued accumulation in the area of the monumental access. The build-up continued mostly immediately south of the revetment wall where sloping accumulations were allowed to build-up against the base. This might have been part of the process of strengthening the revetment wall and protecting its base.
