Stratigraphy

Almost immediately after the curtian wall was built in the previous phase (Phase 7cJ2B) accumulations began to build-up between the revetment wall and the curtian wall. While the previous EDIII accumulations had sloped downward from the base of the revetment wall, the accumulations in this phase built-up in horizontal layers as they were bounded on 3 sides by walls. This build-up is especially visible in the west section of k13. These level accumulations characterize the stratigraphy of Phase 7fJ2B.

Typology

Both the ceramics and the small finds from these layers are fairly non-descript including the usual range of small finds (lithics, clay objects, etc). The ceramics are mixed EDIII and Mittanni, similar to the preceding phase.
