It happened at the end of the excavation season as the late Mittani accumulations south of the Early Dynamic III period revetment wall were being excavated to provide a line of sight from viewing towers to the exposed portions of the wall. Within this accumulation were a number of displaced stones. Several years later, we recognized the confusion as to location this "west" feature number caused, so we substituted a vacant "east" excavation number, f538, and transfered all data to it. f331 is now vacant. | [Input File: W808jW.j] |
