text description of view 2007-7-07 jW This series of three photographs, taken by the unit without orientation or length references and arranged in panorama, shows the total excavated area in two seasons of work in J3. It is taken from a viewing platform to the southeast, and it shows the important features, the monumental apron, f10; the revetment wall, f11; the memory stones, a16, the Early Dynastic mound's baqaya surface, f50, f109; the later mound's wahal surface, f152, and the final mud surface, f241.
