The top two features, f126 and f129 were excavated several years ago as part of unit J2. Excavation this year started with k98 and k103. All four features are natural accumulations/topsoil most likely built up after the last significant occupation. 12 E gk13 gf97,100,104,107,111,109 Drawing of the section of the east baulk of k13 prior to its removal in order to link the excavation of the apron wall, f10, conducted to the east in k106. Topsoil, k97, and natural accumulations f104 and f107 were most likely deposited after the last significant occupation. Feature f111 probably was a part of a modification of the temple mound in the later stages of its use, while f109 is the baqaya surface that formed the mound leading from the revetment wall up to the BA temple.
