The eastern sector of the Palace

     Some 7 meters below the surface level, we should have here a portion of the eastern sector of the Palace. Linked with A19, it is reasonable to expect here the eastern perimeter; however, it is unlikely that we should have here the northeastern corner, which is presumably considerably further to the north.

     So far we have only exposed the Mittani levels, which, together with A18 and A17, suggest a use of the area in function of the Temple the entrance to which had been relocated around 1400 B.C. at a short distance to the east of A20.
