At m2703 79-118, we found a large number of bones, apparently animal. Whether it is an isolated carcass or another bone layer is as yet unknown. However, given the large size of the pelvis and the small size of the jaw, jff believes that they are not from the same animal. Also, the ^a around the bones is much dirtier, containing seed, pottery, and a number of medium-sized stones. Could this be fill? It also resembles f347, higher up, which contained a thick layer of bone. Some pieces from the bones are in the bone bag for this q-lot. |
