.bk A12 .fl K730jl.j .fd view descriptions .ei jl .ed K730 .rd K729 .ri jl v 91 ph v91 shows the S baulk of A12 a22 on K626. v91a profiles the E half of the baulk, v91b the W half, v91c looks at the center, especially f303, the curved fissure, and v91d and v91e are closeups of this feature. v 92 ph v92 is to show the gullywash in k23, specifically how it surrounds the stones in a31, the doorway. Since our intention is to dig through it quickly with the large pick, we want to document that the section appears to be entirely gullywash. v92a is a tight view of the section, v29a the same but from further away to show the stones of a32. v92c looks only at the W baulk, to show how the gullywash f314 continues around. v 93 ph v93 is a view, looking W, of the stairway in a31 through the doorway. v93a looks overhead down to the threshold/final step. v93b, from the E, looks through the doorway to the stone f291 in the baulk of k25. Finally, v93c looks at the doorway and the antechamber, to show the relationship between the two areas. v 94 ph This view shows a patch of bitumen in the soil, from a sherd in q-lot 585. v94a shows the context of the photo, along with our conservator sb, in a wider shot. v 95 ph This view is a photograph to show the jar i77 in the gullywash f314. v95a is a closeup of the jar in position, v95b of the jar piece to the side, exposing the root structure which had grown and decayed underneath, and v95c is a closeup of this root structure. v 96 ph This view shows a decayed, white root structure visible in a clod of dirt. v 97 ph Looking E from above, this main view shows the doorway a31, looking down the stairs, into k25. v97a is a tight shot of the stairway, while v97b looks instead W. v 98 ph This is a general view of the fissure f316, showing its position between loci k26 and k27. v98a is a closeup of the fissure itself. v 102 ph The main view shows the white pit, f325, in relation to the rest of k27. v102a is a similarly general view, but instead of being overhead, it looks E. v102b is a tight shot of the pit, v102c a long view showing it in relation to the doorway. v102d is a closeup of the white material on the pit's surface, v102e a closeup of the face of the wall across the fissure from the pit. Finally, v102f is a closeup of the fissure, between f325 and f326. v 103 ph v103 shows the face of the wall, f326, as it was first discovered. v 104 ph v104 is a view of all of A12, taken from the E walltop of the apsidal structure, looking W. v 105 ph v105 shows the whole apsidal structure looking E; v105a is the same view, but with the camera rotated so that the top of the structure is cut off. v 106 ph v106 looks at the vault/fissure, f303, in the S baulk of a32. v106a and v106b are not actually in A12 at all; they are views of the A13 E baulk, where smooth vaulted pockets were found, apparently made by water seeping in, which might also explain the creation of the fissure in A12. v106c is a closeup of one of these surfaces. v 107 ph This photo shows f326, the mud wall, where it bonds with the S baulk, in relation to the stratigraphy. v107a is essentially the same view. v107b shows the strange arrow, found in the soil, pointing S. Finally, v107c is the possible plaster in the NW on the mud wallface. v 108 ph The main view is an overhead view of the find-spot of i82, an inscribed seal impression. v108a is a tighter view from the same angle. v108b is a closeup of the findspot. v108c is the same view, except with a plain clay lump instead of the seal impression in order to test if the difference is discernable. v108d and v108e are also comparisons of the seal impression and pseudo-seal impression. v 109 ph v109 is a photograph of a section of differently colored, clearly bounded earth, similar to the arrow seen in v107b. Unfortunately, since it was taken very early in the morning, it is very dark and impossible to see the color difference in question. Therefore, no template was made for it. v 110 ph v110 shows the mud-wall face, continuing to be revealed. v110a is a closeup of the wall face. v110b is a tight shot of the mud wall face. v 111 ph v111 shows the S baulk of k26. v11a is an overhead angled view of the same baulk. v 112 ph v112 looks W at the stone f291 in the stairway. v112a and v112c are overhead views, looking down at the stone, with and without the wooden pole, respectively. v112b and 112d, in turn, look down through the stairway, once again with and without the wooden pole. v 114 ph This view looks horizontally across the apsidal structure. v 117 ph This view looks down on a32 to show the color difference between the ^ac in k26 and k27. It also shows the context for the bowl, i95. v117a is a tight shot of the bowl's location, and v117b is an overhead of the same thing. v 119 ph This view shows the appearance of a35/f342, the sherd-stone-bone pocket, and its location within the locus. v 120 ph This view shows the context of a35. v120a is a closeup of the aggregate. v 124 ph This view shows the burial found in k27. v124a is an overhead look at it, v124b is a context shot. v 125 ph v125 and v125a are overhead shots of the apsidal structure, aerial photos. v125a is the doorway, v125b the circle. v 126 ph v126 is an overhead view of the apsidal structure, taken from the kite. v126a drifted too far N, v126b too far E. v 129 ph This view is the sherd pavement found underneath f348. v129a is a closeup of the sherds, v129b shows a stone emerging from beneath the sherds.
