-sg Just before the end of the morning we had a meeting in the field with faB about how to proceed the next day. The idea is to continue to remove the ashy layer f22 in k2 going down, more or less until the level of A18. In k13 we decided, after the removal of the pebble floor f50 in the southern part of the square, to check the new features f80 and f81 that seems to abut the brick fall f30. Between these two features it's well visible a line that seems to cut into the brickfall. To clarify this context, that appears completely different from the one in k12 we decided to remove the baulk between k12 and k13. About the structure a2 between k14 and k15 we decided to cut two sections, one N-S in the eastern side and one E-W in the northern side to have a better understanding of it. If there are still doubts about a2 we will start to excavate it beginning from the top, in the middle, so if it is a tomb we should be able to go inside it without destroying the structure itself.

dy Today we continued to excavate f78, probably a fill (abandonment) inside the structure constituted by the walls f84 and f85. The area is quite disturbed because it is close to the section of A19k98 and it has been exposed for some years.

dy Today we finished to excavate the accumulation f55 inside the room of a1 that was still in place because in the southern baulk of k15. We excavated it to clarify the presence or not of a wall closing in the south the room and to check where the floor f57 finishes. We left in place a nice grinding stone i23 to take a photo, but in a small sounding near the east section of k15 we found the end of the stone pavement and the presence of a mud brick wall f84, very badly preserved, that we will understand better in the next days.

dy Today we continued to excavate the ashy layer f22, uncovering in part a harder and compact layer brown in color. Almost at the and of the morning we found a big amount of small bones, according to lR probably pertinent to a bird or to a rodent, and we used a sifter to take all the small bones.
