We will have another day of excavation at the end of the season. k 14 dy Today we continued to remove the accumulation f140 on top of the stone installation f141, until we stopped to work in the field around 6 am because of a sudden sand storm. f 140 dy Today we continued to remove the accumulation f140 on top of the stone installation f141, until we stopped to work in the field around 6 am because of a sudden sand storm. k 101 dy We started to clean the square from the dirt arrived during the night because of the sand storm. lR and lC also started to remove other vertical bricks of the a2 but after one hour of work we stopped due to the storm and we went to work in the house. a 2 dy We started to clean the square from the dirt arrived during the night because of the sand storm. lR and lC also started to remove other vertical bricks of the a2 but after one hour of work we stopped due to the storm and we went to work in the house. f 117 ds Floor surface very compact, exposed for about 170 cms from north to south, but for only 10-15 cms in depth. The floor is below the bricky material of f52. This floor is made of hard compacted clay with numerous small inclusions of pottery. It is quite thick, about 5-7 cms, but could be more because it is not yet completely exposed in depth. So it seems to be an important floor, maybe the principal floor related to the wall f64 right north to it. Numerous sherds lay flat on top of this floor. f 118 ds This layer is considered the interface between the ash f24 and the feature underneath. It is brown in color and quite compact in hardness. This layer has some pieces of broken mud bricks and sherds. In the northern portion, next to the north section of k12, we cut the layer for some centimeters. In some points it is very soft, other points are more compact, moreover there are still lenses of ash, all because is an interface .It is also contains small pieces of charcoal and few burnt small pieces of clay. This feature seems to start right where the mud bricks visible in the edge of f52 are stopping. The feature is also sloping down toward west, but it is quite irregular in its surface.
