The view shows all the installations of the late Mittani occupation to the north of A18 (stratum 12a), when this area was used as open space for some kinds of activities. There are pavements like f112 and f73, tannurs f42 and f100, a drainage system connected with a pebble pavement a3. Moreover are recognizable some ashy accumulation f36 and f103 probably coming from these activities taken place in the outdoor area. To the east we can see more big stone pavements belonging to the small rooms a4, a6, a5 and a1. These rooms, together with the big stone pavement f108, show the different elevations of the structures and it is not still clear if they belong to the same or to different strata. ;153 OH S gk2,3,4,12,13,14,15,101 ga3,4,5,6 gf22,98,103,52,82,113,114,59,41,96,128,31,122,42,68,36,112,99,73,107,71,99,141,77,105,97,93,106,63,92,150,132,154,152,108,109,127,84,115,111,109 View taken from the high ladder showing almost all the A20 area with a small portion of A18 in the background. This view shows all the loci at the end of the excavation. On the right we can see a5, a6 and a4 with their stone pavements forming small rooms one next to the other one, south of the wall f106. This wall runs next to another big wall, f63 and f41 running east to west and probably belonging to a structure toward north. To the west and to the south there are some installations, showing an open use of this area. There are structures like the bin f71, perhaps connected with the two bounded walls f107 and f99, the pavements f73 and f112, the drain f83 with the pebble pavement f80, the earth f59, and another possible bin f113. Moreover are recognizable three ashy accumulations f22, f103 and f36 result of some activities. 154 OH S gk2,3,4,12,13,14 gf22,45,98,103,113,114,82,52,64,24,41,105,141,83,96,77,63,106,93,92,97,80,31,128,42,122,112,36,68,69,73,107,99,71 ga3,4 View taken from the high ladder showing the western part of A20. To the west is visible the thick ashy accumulation f22 and f24 result of some kind of activities of this outdoor area, constituted of many different ashy layers sloping down toward south and west. This ash is abutting the brick mass f52, f82 and f98 on its sharp edge. To the east we found more installations like the tannurs f42, the brickpile f68, possibly an installation above the ash layer f36, the pavements f112, f122 and f73, next to the two bounded walls f107 and f99 with the bin f71. To the north between k3 and k13 there is the pebble pavement f80 and the drain f83. To the east other kinds of structures like stone pavements and big mud brick walls forming different rooms, show a different use of the space (outdoor-indoor). 155 E gk15 gf21,26,39,44,38,46,55,84,57 ga1 View of the section of the east baulk of k15 without the string. The view shows the top soil f21 above the accumulation f26. Below we see the top part of the mud brick wall f38 running east to west trough the baulk. At this point we differentiated two accumulations, f44 the accumulation outside the structure and f39 the accumulation inside the structure, constructed also of the mud brick wall f46. Right on top of the stone pavement f57 there is the accumulation f55 created to distinguish the pottery on top of the pavement from the sherds above. On the right is visible, in section and at the level of the stone pavement, the wall f84 closing the room to the south. 155a E gk15 gf21,26,39,44,38,46,55,84,57 ga1 View of the section of the east baulk of k15 with the string. The shot was taken to show the mud brick wall f84 preserved for a good elevation, until just below the top soil f21. Removing the accumulations f26, f39 and f55 we didn't recognize the wall, that was very badly preserved because it is just inside the north baulk of A19 excavation. We identified it only about 20 cm above the level of the pavement f57 but, looking for good preserved bricks, we removed it until the stone pavement
