Is constituted of a sort of harder surfaces above softer ashy and sandy material. It seems naturally born in a moment of abandonment of this area and follows the slope of f205. ar This feature is sloping to the north as f202 and then f205. f205 is a bricky material that seems to have been washed away. Later, above this sloping surface other sloping layer made mostly of ash were formed by natural agents. This shows a moment of abandonment until f192 that is a kind of horizontal floor. f 174 ds Sort of clay installation badly preserved. Just the eastern part has been uncovered. It consists of a thin wall of very compacted clay 10 cm thick, showing different layers of pressed clay. Going deeper the surface become less compact and seems to disappear. The remains suggest an oval shape for this installation. The function is not clear, not having found the bottom (excavated for just 10-15 cms). It could be a sort of clay or water container set out in the ground. ar The shape could also remind a kiln. Some ash has been uncovered but not as much as expected from the use of a kiln and moreover the walls are not vitrified nor show firing traces. More excavation is required to better understand its function. f 175 ds Hard bricky layer found in the northern portion of k25 below the ashy accumulation f177. The layer is very hard and clearly coming from melted mudbricks. it coild be the top of some structures. ar We assigned a new feature because it is much different from what above and being at the level of the other A20 mudbrick structures we will remove part of it looking for organisid mudbricks. f 177 ds Natural accumulation constituted of soft ashy material. It is clearly naturally born, but it is different from f170 that was instead not ashy but just sandy material. It could be the interface between f170 and the lower filling f180 and it could also show some kind of activities carried in the nearby. f 181 ds Natural accumulation probably wind born in nature. It is very soft and it gets more compact going deeper. It is similar to f163 and f173, but less ashy in texture. f 183 ds Floor type b. Very compact and hard. In certain point it shows a sort of lamination. It is probably naturally formed with water helping. Possibly it become very hard by use and was perfect as base for the later and higher pavement f165. f 186 ds Natural accumulation ashy in texture. It is more compact than f163 and probably this is due to water accumulation that compacted it. It was covering floor f192. A lot of inclusion are natural and it cames out in very small chunks. f 193 ds Filling of pit. The upper part was constituted of a very hard clayish material similar to bricky material. It was full of empty spaces probably due to water seepage inside the pit and the born of many roots. The presence of these spaces is natural and not linked to the presence of chaff. The material was highly adherent to the walls of the pit. Below this thick layer there were some small to medium sized stones and softer material, with mudbrick chunks and few pottery sherds. f 195 ds Mudbrick wall running north to south and probably bonded to ^wall1. It seems to be two whole brikcs wide, with wide spaces for the mortar. The mudbrick are of gray very hard clay mesuring about 40x40 cms. Just few rows of mudbricks are so far visible and the wall measures about 1 meter and an half, then it is cut by the pit f189 but restart to run to the north until the northern baulk of k25. f 197 ds Floor type b extending in the southern portion of k34. It seems the continuation to the north of floor b f192 in k24, but less well preserved. It is sloping to the north and becoming thinner. It is disturbed from many rodhent holes. Between the upper level of the floor and the lower pavement f204 there was a very hard layer that we considered and removed as the same as f197. f 202 ds Layer sloping to the north. It was below f172 and follows the slop formed by the erosion of f205. As f172 is constituted of an harder surface on top of ashy soft material. This layer shows a moment of the abandonment of the area, with some activities that were carried out in the nearby. nr We assigned this feature number after we removed part of it as f205. f 205 ds Hard bricky material found on top of ^wall1 and wall f195. At tthe beginning we thought it could be the destruction layer of the building. We removed part of it looking for organized mudbricks but we did not find them. It could be interpreted as the collapse of the walls. It is deeply sloping to the north, possibly inside the room, but it seems due to a later erosion, because the surface is very compact. more excavation is required for a better understanding of this feature. f 207 ds Possible cut cutting the southern edge of pavement f204. Just this edge of the cut has been uncovered at the very end of the season. We don't know yet its complete shape and the porpuse. It removed part of the pebbles of the pavement f204 and the pebbles and sherds of its preparation f206 uncovering a flat floor (f208). f 208 ds Floor b extending in the south western corner of k34 and just partially exposed at the very end of the excavation season. More excavation is required for a better understanding.
