Its iconography focuses on a horned deity facing right with rays coming from both shoulders and upper arms. This figure appears to be holding downward a weapon in his right hand. His left leg is raised perhaps on a hillock. His head and upper body are shown in front view while the lower body and legs are turned to the right.
Behind him is a small goat with body facing right but head facing left. In front of him are two humans one is touching his left raised arm and the other human figure has one arm raised.
The seal is rolled near a peg impression both in A1.246 and A1.262. In A1.262 (G this drawing can be seen in A1 Field number list) there is one flat surface showing impressions of wood with peg impressions on this wood.
There are other Urkesh seal impressions with an animal with one raised leg on a hill with plants growing on this hill but these impressions are iconographically different than this composit. A variation of this iconography we can see in A5.121 with a human who has a leg on the head of a reversed horned animal and A5.135 where a human has a leg on the mane of a reversed lion. In front of this figure is a table with a row of vertical ovals framing the table on both sides but not the top. Next is a standing figure facing right touching the table. The seated figure and the standing figure touching the table both have an oval dotted eye.
Behind this figure are two other figures facing right with both arms folded. These three figures wear the same type of garment as the seated figure.
All the figures in this scene have an oval head.
The table base at the bottom has a flat center with a slanted leg on both sides. Above this are three wider leg portions separated by two very thin vertical strips. The flat top has two piles of what probably are oval bread loves one topped by a conical cup and the other by what appears to be an animal leg.
In the space between the head of the figure touching the table and the vertical strip framing one side of the table is a crescent with a dot in the center. This is the only indication that the scene may depict a ritual event. K15 2026-10-01_ZKx02 gB.j mKB The seal is carved in the Deep Fringe style. However in this case the eye is connected by a line with the triangular nose; both these charactistics are unusual for the Deep Fringe style. M3 2026-10-01_ZKx02 gB.j mKB The impression in A1.241 is found on a peg impression with several strands of a cord and a possible knot impression. The three seal rollings on A1.241 are found one at the base of the peg and two others, one on either side of the peg impression. However it is not quite flat at the bottom which would indicate a door sealing and so this seal was probably employed to seal a container. M3 2026-10-01_ZKx02 gB.j mKB This seal was used to seal containers found in both A1 and A5. A5.168 and A1q995.25 were both excavated in f113 [DOES THIS BELONG TO BOTH A1 AND A5 ?] where a large number of other seal impressions were discovered indicating that the objects sealed belonged to a group of containers whose contents were used in this part of the palace. Lower register has figures positioned horizontally. All the human figures have an oval head and large eye but without a dot. The human figures in the upper register are depicted above the pattern of the human headed bull in the lower register.
Upper register: seated figure facing right wearing a plain garment and seated on a plain stool. This figure is holding up a conical cup together with a small standing figure with the upper body frontal but the head facing left. This small figure is wearing a short skirt and has stick-like legs. The figure has the right arm raised to hold the conical cup but the left arm touches the head of the standing human headed bull placed behind him. This bull figure is depicted standing on an unclear pattern of straight parallel lines placed vertically. The animal above the bull figure appears to be a lion but this is not certain. Behind these two figures is a birdman facing right holding upright a long thin shaped object. Next to him is a nude female facing forward.
Lower register: has few figures including a human headed bull 's head facing front with a long beard depicted with straight parallel lines. The two humans in the upper register are depicted above this figure. After this in the composition is an unclear geometric pattern. The last figure in this register is a nude human facing right with an oval head and eye in the same style as the two humans in the upper register. This figure is holding a long sword toward a rampant animal facing left so facing him. He may be holding the leg of this rampant animal.
Next to this figure is a small figure placed a little higher in the scene than this first figure with the triangular head. This second figure is facing right with the left arm raised. The figure is depicted with a large dot for the eye in the middle of the head in profile.
A1.486 probably is the same iconography as AKc107 which would indicate that the second figure is placed higher in the scene because an animal standing on all four legs with a short tail (perhaps a bull) is shown below. This seal impression is in the shape of a slightly rounded peg. The two stools the two figures are seated on are the same but the figure on the left does not appear to be working in a flat bowl. The two standing figures working with long handled implements inside a standing large jar appear to be different. Therefore the scenes appear to be similar but not exactly the same so the sealings are made by two different seals.
