ds this final photo facing east shows the top of wall f72, or a3. It shows the curve and straight features of the wall. Also visible is a3, the bench of stones in the foreground along the base of the wall as we have excavated it.

ds this view also shows the wall to the east but from farther back and the curve of the wall is less pronounced. The horizontal layers running up to the wall are very apparent.

ds this view faces SE and gives a good view of the excavation area with no real features. The most distinctive item is the continuing layers of horizontal depostion. As seen in v216A these run right up to the wall. In the foreground is the second staircase leading down from the first to the second step.
