This accumulation was uncovered removing a similar accumulation f350. It is orange in color and it is probably due to the presence of orange mud bricks melted or broken. 411 E gk130 gf355,356,288,349,336 ga10 View showing the recovering of four objects found together and forming a10. This aggregate is constituted of two almost complete obsidian blades q1304.4 and q1304.5, one flint scraper q1304.6 and one complete clay wheel q1304.3. All these objects were found in the accumulation f355, right on top of the bricks belonging to f356, probably some sort of structure or installation. They could also have some sort of particular meaning. 411a t E gk130 gf355,288,356 ga10 Sub view showing a particular of the four objects forming a10 and found inside the accumulation f355 right on top of the mud bricks belonging to f356. They could have some particular meaning because their presence seems strange in accumulations with very few objects. 412 N gk130 gf288,356,357 View showing the base of the wall f288. To the south are visible three orange mud bricks running north to south that seem going below the eastern stone of the wall. Next to f356 there is a sort of accumulation with many broken mud bricks. They could also belong to some kind of installation, but a too small area has been exposed to clearly understand. f356 and f357 form the earlier levels on top of which the base of the wall f288 was set out. 412a w OH gk130 gf288,349,336,356,357 View showing the mud bricks f356 running north to south and the accumulation with many fragments of mud brick f357 found in the small sounding k130, at the base of the wall f288. They form the earlier level on top of which the wall f288 was set out. These bricks forming a clear alignment belong clearly to some kind of structure or simpler installation. 412b t N gk130 gf288,356,357 Sub view showing the orange mud bricks running north to south below the stones of wall f288. This clearly indicates the bottom of the wall f288, with the mud bricks belonging to some earlier structure or installation. Their function could be clarified just expanding the excavation in the next seasons. 413 SW gk131 gf259,352,325,337,353,338,346,351 View showing the floor f352 sloping to the south and abutting the stones of wall f259. Above it, as clearly visible in section there were another natural sloping floor f351, the natural accumulation f346 on top of which was put the patch of baqaya f353, probably to protect the wall f259 against the water coming from west. 413a t S gk131 gf259,352 View showing f352, a hard compact floor sloping to the south and abutting the stones of the big wall f259. Between the stones of the wall there are empty holes with a very clayish brown soil clearly coming from water seepage. 413b OH gk131 gf259,352 This picture shows the floor f352 sloping to the south next to wall f259. This floor is clearly natural and it is sloping sharply abutting the stones of the wall f259, showing its later date. .rd T816 414 NE gk127,130 gf348,349,336,288,259,361,360,278,339,344,341,354,358 ga8 View showing the work in progress in k127. After the removal of f345 the thick ashy layer f354 to the south and the natural accumulation f358 were uncovered in the western half of k127, both abutting the higher collapsed stones belonging to f336. To the west, right next to wall f259 are also visible the floating stones f361.1 and 361.2 showing probably a later small collapse episode. .rd T817 415 NE gk127,130 gf259,288,336,349,348,278,359,361,362,360,344,339,341 ga8 View showing k127 with the bonded walls f259 and f288 forming the big structure a8. Next to the northern corner of a8, below f358 and f354, was found the accumulation f359 with many small pebbles. To the south was uncovered the accumulation f362 in all similar to f347 found in the small sounding k130 almost at the same elevation. 416 NE gk127 gf259,288,336,349,362,359,361,360 ga8 View showing the western half of k127 where the excavation was carried out the last days of the season. It is clearly visible the collapse of stones f336 and f349, coming very likely from the walls f259 and f288 forming a8. The picture also shows the floating stones f361.1 and f361.2 right next to wall f259, possible sign of a later small collapse episode. In the north western corner of a8 was uncovered the accumulation with many small pebbles f359. 416a t N gk127 gf361,360,259,336,288 View showing the floating collapsed stones f361. The stone f361.1 is sharply inclined to the east, while the stone f361.2 is lying almost flat. These stones probably show a later moment of collapse of the structure a8. 416b m SW gk127 gf361,360,259,288,336,359 ga8 View showing the floating-collapsed stones f361.1 and f361.2 on top of the soil pillar f360, next to wall f259. This accumulation seems clearly natural and these small pebbles likely came from the walls themselves, in fact were used to fill the holes between the bigger stones according to this building technique. 418 N gk127 gf259,288,359,362,336 ga8 This picture shows the accumulation with pebbles f359 after the removal of the stones f361.1 and f361.2. It seems likely to me that these stones are not floating but have the function to strengthen the structure of the early escarpment against the water coming from west. 420 N gk127,129 gf363,343,339,341,239 ga8 View showing the continuation to the north of the pebbles alignment f343, uncovered after the removal of just few cms of accumulation f363. This alignment is almost parallel to wall f259 and probably form a sort of boundary or shallow barrier against the water coming from the west, also before the construction of the early escarpment. .rd T818 421 S gk127 gf362 View showing the recovery of the small animal figurine, i76 inside the accumulation f362. 422 N gk129 gf353,365,339,239,259,341,196,318,288 ga8 View showing the continuation of baqaya f353 to the north below the accumulation f363. The baqaya, exactly as to the south, shows an irregular surface probably due to water erosion. Its function was just to protect the wall f259 from the water. It was put when the break f344 was already happened. 422a c N gk129 gf353,365,339 View showing a closer shot of the baqaya f353 continuing to the north all along the western face of wall f259. The baqaya has an irregular surface and as to the south it doesn't abut the wall f259, also because here the wall is not preserved. This shows that the baqaya was put after the break in the wall has already happened. 423 N gk129 gf352,366,367,239,259,288,341,339,318,196,353 ga8 View showing this small portion of k129 after the removal of baqaya f353, still clearly visible in the northern section. Below the baqaya were found the northern portion of the eroded floor f352 and the accumulations f366 and f367, before their removal. This small excavated area is just to west of wall f259 and we were expecting a different situation than to the east. The situation is not clear because of the erosion that excavated a sort of channel, f344, running west to east, exactly aligned with the break in the wall f259. 423a c NE gk129 gf352,366,367,353 Sub view showing the accumulations f366 and f367 filling the hollow f344 excavated by water flowing. On the bottom we found the harder accumulation f368, exactly at the level of the preserved wall, so probably this is still a not eroded early accumulation abutting wall f259. 424a S gk129 gf259,352,344,368 View showing the erosion cut f344, that damaged the floor f352 and the wall f259 forming a sort of channel running west to east. On the bottom of the erosion was found the hard accumulation f368. This accumulation is probably still an early accumulation abutting the wall, not eroded by the water. It could also be the same as f364 to the south in k131. 424b m W gk129,127 gf259,288,352,341,368 Sub view showing the damage f344 caused by water flowing from west to east.
