.bk J01 .fl T912lC.j .fd Feature description .ed T912 .ei lC .rd T911 .ri lC f 372 ds Three big vertical stones resting on top of the hard layer f371. These stones are quite regular and almost rectangular in shape. They measure: f372.1 (70x28x60 cms), f372.2 (80x35x45 cms) and f372.3 (60x25x45 cms). Moreover they are almost at the same distance, about a meter, and they rest all on their narrow long side. Their position seems intentional and probably they are related to the structures f374 and f375, found just a little to the west. f 370 ds Soft topsoil found on the surface of k132. All the accumulations found above f371 have been excavated as topsoil also because of the southern very eroded section, exposed for more than 6 seasons. f 371 ds Compact flat surface, probably the surface of the ancient tell, on top of which in very late Mittani period or Middle Assyrian were built the structures f374 and f375. This hard surface seems constituted of a sort of crust on top of softer accumulations f 373 ds Two big floating stones found inside the topsoil f370, right on top of wall f374. f 374 ds Portion of stone wall running north to south preserved for about 140 cms in length. It is 75 cms thick, built of two rows of stones (medium sized, about 20-50 cms) and it seems to have two faces. It is preserved for just a course of stones and to the north is badly preserved, probably because it is just below the surface. f 375 ds Three stones in line, showing a possible face. They were probably part of a wall linked to wall f374. In fact it is exactly perpendicular to f374, running east to west, but the corner is not preserved. No floors or abandonment accumulations were found except for the hard layer f371 on which they are set out. f 376 ds Two floating stones, one on top of the other, found embedded in the topsoil f370, but resting on top of the hard layer f371, in between the vertical stones f372.1 and f372.1. These stones don't seem related to f372. f 368 ds Accumulation found at the bottom of the cut f344, almost at the same level of the preserved stones of wall f259. It is compact and brown in color and it could be the same of f364 to the south in the sounding k131. Few orange mud brick fragments recognizable.
