-sg we are concentrating our efforts in cleaning all the dirt from the German trench, removing the baulks in k2 e k12, going down in k82 trying to reach the steps and excavating the northern meter  of k43 and k53. 

-wk a girl, Aysha, sister of Ramadan, joined us in the field. Today she cleaned J01. 

-sy we removed the following markers m3676, m3688, m3574. BP made six new squares in the eastern side on the German trench, following the line of the stair.

-eq we started to use the machine of Sabbah to remove the soil from the trench. It seems work very well. Tomorrow it will possible to check the exact time necessary to let down the wheelbarrow, to fill it and to empty the dirt. 8 men are necessary: four down and four on the top.

dy we are continuing to remove the baulk. After two hours we moved the team from k2 to the machine in the trench so the work is going quite low (f64, q161, q167).

dy we are continuing to remove the baulk and we reached some of the stones of the possible "apron" (f63, q160, q166, q170).

dy we are going down in all the square except for the north-eastern part eroded by the German trench (f65, q163).

k 43
dy we went on removing just a surface of 1X4, near the northern baulk, trying to reach as soon as possible the stone wall exposed last year in JO1 (f60, q159).

k 53
dy we went on removing just a surface of 1X4, near the northern baulk, trying to reach as soon as possible the stone wall exposed last year in JO1 (f66, q158, q172).

k 83
dy we started removing the southern half (f62, q162), going down in all the square (f62, q165) and in the northern half (f62, q168, q171). We found some eroded stones of big size.

dy with the new machine it's not possible to use the sifter. We just collect the pottery in the lower part of the trench (f100, q164, q165).
