Description/Count
description (summary) 2006-8-17 vVE Feature f544 consists of several large pebbles that form a semi-circle that extends from the southern section. It is possible that the other half of the circle is lying in the baulk. It could be a small, ad hoc, fire-place although no large amounts of ashes (f546) were found nor did the stones show any obvious signs of having been heated. Feature f546 lies to the north of f544. Feature f544 rests on the naturally compacted floor f547. [Input File: Q817vE.j]

Recovery/Assignment
daily notes 2006-8-17 vVE At the bottom of f540 we found some large pebbles that were aligned in a semi-circle that extended from the southern section. These stones define f544 which lies on top of the naturally compacted floor f547. To the north of f544 was lying a small grey (ashy?) deposit f546 that contained a lot of small sherds. [Input File: Q817vE.j]
2006-8-19 vVE f544 and the associated greyish deposit f546 and the associated natural surface f547 were removed today. [Input File: Q819vE1.j]

notes on time sequencing 2006-9-04 vVE Slightly under the top soil an old naturally compacted surface f547 was found with f546 and f544 resting upon it. These features are assigned to because they show some ephemeral evidence of occupation long after the temple terrace had been covered. [Input File: Q904vVE.j]
