Definition 2010-03-18 sC accumulation D [Input: U315SC.j]
Description (summary) 2006-08-29 pc This is a natural accumulation in k83; it covers an area of 250cm E and 120cm N in the northern portion of k83. It is crumby an soft in consistence, it is characterized by a compact soil,it is fine in texture and light brown in colour. In the NE area it abuts f65 (the German trench). [Input: Q902SC.j]
2010-01-22 sC f71 was assigned to the natural accumulation dug firstly in k83 in the 2006 season. This square, as visible in J2t61, was previously dug in the 2004 excavation season by mH as part of J02 Unit. Portion of the locus, as visible in J2v61, was interested by the cut of the German trench C10 dug in the 2001 excavation season; the bottom of the German trench C10 in this locus was found and reached by mH in the 2004 excavation season. For this reason, when we start digging in 2006 in this locus, k83 was cheracterized by a cut that was aprox. 100cm wide and 20-30cm high in the middle portion of the locus (relative to the bottom of the German trench C10). The features in k83, as those in k82, slope slightly toward south, following the slope of the tell mound. For this reason, the top elevation of f71 in the north portion of the locus differs from the top elevation in the south portion of he locus (there are approximately 20cm of difference in elevation). The elevation of f71 given in the 'Volumetric localization' has been taken in the middle portion of the locus. [Input: U122SC.j]

Lack of expected information 2010-01-22 sC Unlucky there are no J04 photos showing k83 and k84 before we start digging in these loci in the 2006 excavation season. However, J2t61 shows the mentioned loci at the end of the 2004 excavation season, showing the different elevations that characterize these loci. [Input: U122SC.j]
