The skeleton is complete and has been recovered in a very good state of preservation. i 6 df animal bones f 103 df brick-melt df dump^1 ev By looking at the new data from the excavations carried out in 2009 in J06 unit, it is possible now to say that f103 is a brick-melt accumulation, as visible in v100, and is probably part of the dump^1, the brick-melt accumulation found throughout the whole J06 unit which spread in the S portion of J04 area as well. f 63 df brick-melt df dump^1 ev This feature is a brick-melted accumulation, probably part of the dump^1 ev By looking at the new data from the excavtions carried out in 2009, we can now say that f63 is in its lower portion a brick melt accumulation, (as visible in t100), and is probably part of the dump^1, a brick-melt accumulation found throughout the whole J06 unit which spread in the S portion of J04 area as well. ;cfr template 76 per glacis f127 f 89 el 9067 (bottom of feature as q-lot 209)@bottom k 72 nr It could be that the bricks found while scraping the section of the E baulk of k72 and k73 (visible in v100 and v101) that we thought could be part of a possible mud-brick wall running N-S just below the baulk, are instead bricks belonging to the collapse of structures located in the S portion of the J04 or more probably in the north portion of J06 area (bf^2), and are part of brickfall bf^1, the brick-melt accumulation that is the top-most part of bf^2. v 101 ds This view shows the the section of the E baulk of k73, where various mud-bricks have been exposed while scraping the E section of k73. In a first moment we think that the bricks here found, could be part of a possible mud-brick wall running N-S just below the baulk. However, in the light of the excavations carried out in the 2008-9 excavation season in J06 unit we now interpreted these bricks to represent the collapse of structures located in the S portion of the J04 unit or, more probably, in the north portion of J06 area; these bricks are part of what -in J06 unit- has been defined as bf^1, the brick-melt accumulation which is the top-most part of the brickfall bf^2. f 170 df w ds f170 has been assigned to a portion of a mud-brick wall running (with a SW-NE andament) located in the Sout-eastern corner of k73, as visible in v104 or v73h. While scraping the top surface and the side-face of the wall, several bricks with the mortar between the joints was noticed; the wall is made of three row of bricks (light brown and reddish in colour) and grey thick mortar in between. ;A35 L_V19d3199 J4v73h Q927 dM nr This wall was noticed during the 2006 excavation season while removing f93, the accumulation within locus k73; however, we did not clarifyed its limits when we stop digging in this locus. Up to present, it is unclear whether this is part of a wall or part of the brickfall bf^2. The east section of k73, as visible in view v101, shows clearly some complete bricks lying in a oblique way, noticed while digging. Their orientation indicate that they could have been part of a fallen structure, and could possibly belong to f170 or a structure associated with f170. f170, although is only parially preserved, seems however to be in its original location, and this seems to corroborate the idea that in locus k72 and k73 in Phase 65-MZA (in substratum s16b-c) several mud-brick structures were in use in J04 unit. Wall f170 is located at the same elevation as the bin (f93) and the wall north to the bin (f161-f162) and the tannurs within k72 (f112, f152): all these structures form a2. co light brown co reddish tx fine hd very compact wm bricks with mortar el same as bottom N Baulk k 74 @top el 9078 (same el as f89, since they have the same bottom el)@bottom P99 Not removed in the 2006 excavation season f 89 tc co f170 ;tc ab f170 k 73 nr The mud-brick structures exposed in locus k73 (in the E baulk and in the SE corner of the locus) were not completely exposed in the 2006 excavation season since -with the exception of f93, the bin structure- have been found at the end of the excavation season; for this reason only the top 'face' of these structures has been exposed. k 72 nr The mud-brick structures exposed in locus k72 (in the E baulk of the locus and wall f161-f162) were not completely exposed in the 2006 excavation season since -with the exception of f93, the bin structure- have been found at the end of the excavation season; for this reason only the top 'face' of these structures has been exposed. f 121 co reddish-brown nr f121 slopes sharply toward the south portion of the locus; for this reason, the top elevation in the north portion of the locus differs quite a lot from the top elevation in the south portion of the locus, as visible in view v84 and related subviews; there is aproximately 100cm of difference in elevation. The bottom elevation of f121 given here, has been taken aprox. 50cm from the south baulk, therefore, the bottom elevation of the feature in the south baulk of the locus should be aproximately 20cm lower than 88.46, as visible in v84a and v84c and v94. v84c and v94 show cleary well the slope of the feature in the south portion k100. ; v94 (V19d3250) f 123 P99 Removed (Q912) f 124 tc ov f121 f 119 tc co f125 f 126 ds f126 it is the same accumulation as f121 .ei sC .ed U304 f 129 wm soil hd compact tc re f103 P99 Removed Q913 f 130 tc re f131 f 138 P99 Removed Q911 ;U304 NON è coperta da nessuna feature perchè è la parte di k84 che è più alta perchè non scavata da Minna ;check ds f138 del 2010
