Description | 2008-8-26 | cJC | North baulk of k4. This baulk is composed of natural accumulations and brickfall. It is about 3 meters high. It was excavated as a volumetric feature. [Input file: S826CJC.J / S826CJC.-J] |
Strategy | 2010-8-7 | cJC | As it was one of the last features excavated during the season it had to be removed quickly and was thus taken down all as one piece rather than in smaller features. This resulted in a mixing of brickfall and natural accumulations but as we had the stratified deposits from k4 and k5 we did not think it was necessary to excavate the baulk in small sections.
