As a result, we do not assign a separate feature number to it. q9 contains sherds from this white band and east of it; q8 contains sherds from west of white band. q 9.1 nt this, like other sealings,is different in texture and shape: it almost looks like basalt. It has a very flat surface on one side and a pronounced ridge on the other. -sg we started sifting selectively, for areas with greater concentrations of sealings, with screens 2 mm thick. .ri jW -mk markers not yet surveyed, and due to other commitments, it may be several more days before this takes place. To preserve some of the record in case the relay markers (designated S (south) and W (west)) are accidentially displaced, made a series of reference measurements using the nearest power line pylon. To verify the relative accurcy of the relays we also measured the distance of the relay markers from the appropriate square corners. See Sketch 3 for details.
