After removing the baulks between k5 and k4 and between k4 and k3 we'll draw the eastern sections of k4 and k5 and we'll reduce them towards the German trench leaving just 30/40 cm. k 3 dy we are going on with the digging of the northern part of the square where we found stones of medium-big sizes clearly collapsed from the north (maybe from the apron). The soil is soft and with fair pottery. Today we dug f32 q71, q79, q81 and q85. k 13 dy here we cleaned a small portion of the square in the north-western corner (q71). The soil is very soft. k 14 dy we started to remove the western baulk of k14 (f35, q78) to have a more useful passage for the wheelbarrow. k 82 dy we started to clean a small portion of the square in the south-eastern corner of the square (f38, q83). k 92 dy we started to clean and dig k92 (f36, q80) at the sides of the old German trench. The soil is medium loose and the colour is brown-reddish. Not much pottery and no bones. We stopped 25 cm. under the surface when we reached the bricky reddish material. In the northern part of the trench we dug f36, q80; in the southern part f33, q72. k 93 dy we started to clean and dig k93 at the sides of the old German trench. Here the goal is reaching and exposing the stones of the western part of the monumental stair. The soil is composed by loose earth with few pottery and no bones. Today we dug f34, q73 and q82 and we reached the top of the stones of the highest part of the stair. k 100 dy we are going on with the shifter finding just some pottery sherds and no objects. About "elevator" we can't use it all the morning long since the soil in the trench is very wet and so it's necessary shifting the soil and waiting that it dry.
