-sg Since the elevator doesn't work we decide to use the two teams of workers opening the new square k33.

-wk Since we have not one of our pick-men (Dara) we took one from  A18 (one of the Amorreans).

dy we levelled the excavation surface (f32, q90) cleaning between the stones and starting to relay the points of the collapsed material. To distinguish these stones from the other material we decide to make a new feature (f45) which sits in f32.

dy we finished to remove the northern baulk between k4 and k5 (f39, q89 and q96) and we use the western baulk as a ramp for the wheelbarrow.

dy we started to remove the eastern part of the baulk between k4 and k5 (f44, q95) to be able to draw the section already on Sunday morning also if the baulk will not completely removed.

dy we opened this new square removing the top soil (f42, q87). About 15 cm under the top soil we noticed a difference between the south-western corner and the rest of the square. The soil in the corner (f46) is quite compact with stones of small-medium size and irregular shape and a single pottery shard. For the moment we took just the elevation (m3619 +132-142). Since at a first sight it seems a floor is more probable that it's a natural accumulation (sedimentation) on the surface of the tell. We decided to define it a lens of type d (ld) since there are not walls which abut the feature. For today we decide to go on just in the eastern part of the northern part of the square (f42, q99).

dy we are going on with the excavation of the southern portion of the square (f38, q92 and q97).

k 93
dy we levelled the plan exposing the stones (f37, q91 and q93) and removing granular and bricky material with reddish colour. We removed also the pseudo-baulk left on the first days towards the big German trench (f43, q94 and q98).
