.bk J02 .fl P802aL.j .fd feature descriptions P802 .ei aL .ed P802 .rd P802 .ri aL f 135 ds We defined f135 as a natural accumulation in k4; f135 is the cleaning of the top surface of k4 (10 cm) that was exposed throughout all winter and contaminated by modern trash. It has a very compact and hard surface but once dug it showed a softer consistence. The texture is crumble with pebbles and pottery. In the SW corner there were signs of fire made probably during the winter. This fire is discolored in parts of the southern and western walls of the unit. f135 is the same as f136 in k3 and f137 in k13. f 136 ds We defined f136 as a natural accumulation in a small portion of k3 (approximately 50 cm in the south part of the square); f136 is the cleaning of the top surface of k3 (10 cm) that was exposed during the winter and that was contaminated by modern trash. It has a very compact and hard surface at the top and underneath we exposed three steps alligned. The texture is crumble with pebbles and pottery. f136 is the same as f135 in k4 and f137 in k13. f 137 ds We defined f137 the natural accumulation in k13; f137 is the cleaning of the top surface of k13 (10 cm) that was exposed throughout all winter and that was contaminated by modern trash. It has a very compact and hard surface and once dug it exposed some little areas characterized by sandy accumulation that we have interpreted as the consequence of the presence of puddle. The texture is crumble with pebbles and pottery. f137 is the same as f135 in k4 and f136 in k3. f 140 ds This is a natural accumulation in k13. It the same feature as f138 in k101 (k101 is the pottery witness column located in the NW corner of k13). It is characterized by a hard surface and by the presence of several pebbles and sherds that laid horizontally particularly in the SE part of k13 (see v76). We found pottery dating to both Habur and Mitanni. f 138 ds This is a natural accumulation in k101. It the same feature as f140 in k13 (k101 is the pottery witness column located in the NW corner of k13). It is characterized by a hard surface and by the presence of several pebbles and sherds that laid horizontally. The pottery found in this feature is both Habur and Mitannic. k 101 ds k101 is the pottery witness column located in the NW corner of k13; It is a square of 2x2 m; its corners correspond to relays r447, r448, r449, and r450. f 139 ds This is a natural accumulation in k4 that has a hard surface probably as consequence of its exposion. Once dug its texture is soft and crumbly; in the NW corner, close to the 3 stones running E-W, there are little pebbles and the texture is sandy: it suggests the presence of the bottom of a little puddle in ancient time. The pottery found in this feature dates both to Habur and Mitannic time.
