.bk J02 .fl P822sC.j .fd feature descriptions 198-204, 206-208, 210-211, .ei sC .ed P822 .rd P822 .ri sC f 198 ;df ad ds f198 is a claysh accumulation in the NE corner of k14 (above f199, which is also an ashy accumulation). It is characterized by a very fine texture (clay) and by the presence of ahsy accumulations. When wet it is a bit plastic; when dry it leaves color on the fingers. pr We have differenciate it by f197 because the latter is characterized by a sandy texture, while it has the same dark brown coloration. f 199 df lb ds f199 is thick layer of ash in the north-eastern area of k14 (below f162) and that continues in the E baulk of k14 (f202). It abuts f198 and f202 (E baulk of k14). f 200 ;df ad ds f200 is a natural accumulation in the northern half of k14. It is characterized by a very fine texture (clayish) and it is soft in consistence. When wet it is a bit plastic, and when dry it leaves color on the finger. It is dark brown in color. It is the same of f171 in k13, f174 in k101 and f150 in k4. pr on the P819 the elevator is located in the southern half of k14, therefore is not possible to dig in this area f 201 df ad ds f201 is a natural accumulation in the eastern half of k23. It is characterized by a hard and compact surface with a fine texture; the consistence is crumble and when dry it is a bit dusty. It is grayish in colour. f 202 ;df ad ds is a natural accumulation in the E baulk of k14. It is characterized by a hard surface with a crumble, sandy and fine texture. The feature overlay some stones, belonging to f127. ;c# 7.5 YR 7/1 co light gray f 203 df ad ds f203 is a natural accumulation in the eastern half of k23. As f201 (above it) f203 is hard and compact in consistence, and it has a fine texture, but, differs from f201 in color (and for this reason we assigned another feature number to accumulation): f203 in fact has a reddish coloration due to the presence of brick debris. f 204 df ad ds f204 is the first top 10 cm of a natural accumulation in the southern half of k14 that it has been contaminated by the presence the elevator. It is the same of f200. Therefore it is characterized by a very fine texture (clayish) and it is soft in consistence. When wet it is a bit plastic, and when dry it leaves color on the fingers. It is dark brown in color. f 206 ;df ad ds f206 is a natural accumulation in the E baulk of k15. It is characterized by the presence of very hard surfaces (hard to remove) characterized by a crumb and very fine texture. The presence of little pebbles (small in dimensions, generally about 0,1 cm to 0,3 cm in diameter) may suggest that also this accumulation is what remain of water deposit. Once removed it presents a platy structure, and once dry, it is dusty. It is grayish in colour. f206 is the same of f193, and being the E baulk of k15 abuts f193 (ad in k15 at this elevation) and f195 (the S baulk of k15). c# 7.5 YR 7/1 co light gray ar due to the presence of the German trench excavated in the north-eastern area of k15, there is the possibility that a contamination could have occurred in the pottery (the German thench run aproximately in the first meter south from m4084). f 207 ;df ad ds f207 has been assigned to the south-eastern area of k4 (250 cm E and 200 cm N from r509 or 200 cm N m4084 and 600 cm E m4084) and to the north baulk of k5. The soil is characterized by a crumby structure due to the presence of bricks debris that give to the area a brown-reddish coloration. It abuts f208 and the upper boundary between them is sharp. pr f207 is the same of f188 (above it) but has been differenciate artificially from it in order to keep track of the pottery (f188 has been excavated for for aproximately 50 cm) f 208 ;df ad ds f208 has been assigned to the south-western area of k4 (200 cm W and 200 cm N to r509) and to the north baulk of k5 and it is the same of f189. The soil is characterized by a compact structure due to the presence of bricks rubble, and it is fine in texture: it has a brown-reddish coloration. It abuts f207 and the upper boundary between them is sharp; it is the same of f211. pr f208 is the same of f189 (above it) but has been differenciate artificially from it in order to keep track of the pottery (f189 has been excavated for for aproximately 50 cm) f 210 ;df ad ds f210 has been assigned to the NW-SW area of k14 (350 cm E and 200 cm S from r525). It is characterized by a very fine texture (clay and sand) and by the presence of bricky debris. When wet it is a bit plastic; when dry it leaves color on the fingers. It is brown in colour. It abuts f211 and the upper boundary between them is sharp. f 211 ;df ad ds f211 has been assigned to the NE-SE area of k14 (120E and 200N from m4097). It is characterized by a very fine texture (clay) and by the presence of bricky rubble, like f208: therefore it is the same of f208. It has a soft consistence and it is brown in colour. It abuts f210 and the upper boundary between them is sharp.
