We removed the backfill using brushes, small wooden skewers and a tootbrush. We will rephotograph the human footprints and try and take more casts. f 372 ad This feature was not fully explored this season as we finished the excavations in k15 before fully exposing it. At first it appeared to be a bricky material but we found that nearby there were also some disturbed layers and small stones and heavy erosion to the west. It is possible then that this is not a brick surface or brickfall but rather a combination of different materials all mixed together by erosion. This question remains open for next year when this area will likely be excavated fully. sm Feature with some articulated bricks, small stones and without clearly defined boundaries. f 376 lc 15 f 378 co gray ;f 348 ;el 8560 @top f 340 tc ov f343 f 343 tc ov f360 f 338 tc co f344 f 345 tc si f338 tc si f341 f 346 tc ab f288 tc ab f334 f 344 tc co f347 f 348 tc ov f374 f 352 tc ov f319 ;f 358 ;df ld f 364 tc co f365 f 365 tc ab f131 tc ov f372 f 366 tc cu f363 tc cu f362 tc cu f361 f 371 tc ov f339 f 339 tc ov f374 f 372 tc ov f374 f 367 tc si f376 f 376 tc in f369 tc in f368 f 387 tc ab f380 f 388 tc ab f380 f 389 tc ab f380 f 382 tc cu f205 tc cu f215 tc cu f258 tc cu f267 tc cu f287 tc cu f292 tc cu f386 tc cu f387 tc cu f388 tc cu f389 tc cu f390 f 386 tc co f387 f 383 tc si f382 tc co f384 tc co f385 f 385 tc si f382 n 1 ds Animal print, probably canine, impressed in f381 in k110. n 2 ds Human footprint impressed in f381 in k110.
