In its current condition the majority of the piece is oxidized and encrusted with dirt. Approximately 2 cm from the point of the pin, there is a small smooth patch of surface that reveals what may been a polished piece. The head shape is slightly flattened and swelled around the point of the indentation, suggesting the head was shaped by hammering with a small blunt chisel. wm bronze ht 11.9 w2 0.43 nm w2 is taken from the approximate center of the piece.
