Introduction

When a botanist is onsite, soil samples are routinely collected for floatation. However, when this is not the case soil collection is usually limited to special circumstances such as graves or unique soils such as baqaya. All seed specimens are collected for analysis whether or not suitable for carbon dating.

Soil samples were taken from 4 locations.

No seed specimens were recovered.

Fourteen carbon samples were recovered.

One phytolith was recovered.
