-dy Today at 5:00 am we took the general views for J6: they show the situation of the excavation area from different view range, showing the context where J6 is located after one week of ecavation. Today after breakfast two shovel man were missing (Saleh and Khaled), therefore the work went slower. aKarim took all the day to remove the north baulk of k85. bPW put new squares to the South: they are k66 k76 and k86. k86 is very small, due to the german trench to the West.
-sy today the control point m4682 in k84 was removed. Markers m4763, m4762, m4767, m4768, m4764, m4765, m4766, m4760, m4761 for the new squares k66, k76, k86

k 85
dy Today in k85 was removed the North baulk: it is f15 but it includes all features in k85 (f2, f3, f4, f6, f8, f12)

k 75
dy Today we continued removing f9, which is still the same of yesterday: it is hard when picked, has some pebbles (>10cm) and has patches of soft and harder soil and is crumby in consistency. After two pick runs i decided to change feature in f17, because the consistency was softer and very similar to f8 in k85, which is soft when picked and fine in texture and has few pottery sherds.  f17 is characterized by the presence of phytolitics and some rooths. At the end of the day came out the top of some stones.

k 65
dy In k65 we keep the same feature as yesterday, f14, the accumulation under top soil, but after a pick run I changed feature in f16, which is similar to f14, but harder in consistency.

f 15
ds f15 was assigned to the whole North baulk of k85: it includes all features in k85 (f2, f3, f4, f6, f8, f12)

f 17
ds f17 covers the whole locus k75: it is soft in consistency and very similar to f8 in k85; f17 is soft when picked and fine in texture and has few pottery sherds.  f17 is characterized by the presence of phytolits and some rooths. 
dy At the end of the day came out the top of some stones f21.

f 16
ds f16 covers the whole k65; it has patches of harder and softer soil, is crumbly in consistency and hard when picked. f16 is the same as f9 in k75
