Also, there are two small circular holes in the two upper corners. Above the door there are two parallel lines of 13 small circular holes(8 above and 5 below), seperated by a red painted line, perhaps representing a second floor. The top of the model shows a possible roof gutter. The posterior part has the same decoration for the lintel but in this case it is overlapped by a line of five circular holes. Above these holes there is a figure painted in red which may be interpreted as a bird. There are decorations on the two sides of the model as well. Looking to the right of the side with a single row of five holes and the image of a bird there is a styilized human figure with spread arms and legs. To the left of the bird and 5 holes is another animal figure, perhaps a camel. The lower part is broken while the upper part has been intentionally cut for baking, a practice used for baking larger objects so that they do not break due to the heat. In fact, the upper portion shows a cavity for assembly with other pieces. The clay in section is a different color, so perhaps an anoxide cooking. ht 5 lg 3.7 w1 2.8 w2 0.9 c# 10YR 8/3 co very pale brown wm clay cn broken .ri fab .rd Qx11 i 555 ds A complete seal found during a cleaning of the palace area. The seal is complete, but badly worn by rain, so that the impression is not a clear one. is The seal impression has five elements, all figures. the first is a human figure with both hands raised. The figure seems to be looking right, with legs splayed. Both hands are raised, and may be interacting with the second element. The second element is an animal, raised on its hind legs. It faces left, towards the first element. It seems to be interacting with the human figure, but this is unclear due to the preservation of the seal. The third element is also an animal, facing in the same direction as the second element. This figure is placed quite close to the second element, and seems almost to be resting on its back. To the right of this animal is the fourth element, a human figure. This figure is wearing a belt. The person is facing left, with both hands clasped at the waist. The fifth and final figure is an animal facing right, with the head turned back towards the fourth figure. This animal is also rampant. is The seal seems to be Akkadian in style.
