Description (summary)

cJC
Pebble floors in front of the first staircase just coming up to the very base of second staircase. Composed of an sequence of pebble floors with thin layers of accumulation between them. These pavements are grouped together based on their stratigraphic continuity and typological similarities. The pebbles are much larger than those of the earlier pavements (^pv1).

These floors are constructed using the same techniques as the later ^pv3 grouping of floors, however, they are distinguished on the basis of their pottery typology which diverges from the ^pv3 grouping through the inclusion of Ninevite 5 materials.
