when fully excavated, pit was round with a flattened hemispherical bottom. When excavations began, the opening was rectangular (described by relays 53,54,55 and 56). Later as the true shape was revealed, it has been described as a circle (relays 71,72 and 73) with an approximate diameter of 65cm. 36cm depth measured at 8525(surface) and 8489 (bottom).
