It is just to the east of f12, an accumulation of brick-like material that runs generally N-S and another , f23 that runs generally E-W. The stratigraphic relationship between the bricksmaterial and the tannur is unclear.Kiln slag on the west side of f12 would indicate that the brick was deposited affter the kiln was abundoned. On the other hand, there is no clear evidence that there is abundonment accumulation below the brick. Kiln wall was about 6cm thick. .ri jo -sg Due of the large amount of dirt removing from the excavations because of the type of accumulation dug out of k1,2,3 (mostelly wadi accumulation), therefore k1 will not be dug and work will slow doun in k3 untill we get more dirtremoving workmen or get the started a 3 dy a3 (tannur) was removed after it was described by JLW and a view was taken (v4) a 4 dy 40cm of f27 was dug to the N, E and W of a4 to loke at the bricks of a4 from the sides, The bricks turn out to be formed of only one lyer, no evidence of any type of construction is formed by a4,s bricks. The only possible interpetation at this time is it could be brick-fall, allthough no determenation was made of which wall was it (the closest possible wall is f15). Three relatervelly large stones were found at the northern end of f12, more worke will be done tomorow around a4 fore a better understanding of its nature .ri gb v 5 ph The wadi accumulation f3 overlap the accumulation f17 which is built up against f15. We assume that f15 belongs to building AK, possibly a later phase because it is offset with respect to wall f1. This being so, it appears that the wadi came in directly on top of third mil. deposition, since it cuts directly into AK deposition, and specially it seemes to respect Ak walls and door ways. In fact it goes towarde the doorway in the main transversal wall of AK, visible on the lower left (a1). As a result, we can derive three importent depositional references: 1) There was no post AK deposition here, and the AK deposition itself was quite high, and 2) The general contours of building AK were still relatively appearent after its abandonment; 3) The material within the wadi accumulation (at least the lower layers) mostly ancient .rd H624 .ri jm a 4 dy Plan to remove a4. We see only one layer of brick no continuation, after having cleand the area. The accumulation runs N-W .ri jlw f 31 ds A thin rectangular black of hard packed soil immediately to the south of bricks f29 in NW corner of k3. Although slightly more red than the surounding soil it contained a moderate number of sherds, Indicating it was probably not directly associated with the bricks f 27 ds Some burned animal bones in the vicinity of where tannur f20 was removed suggest it was for cooking. A piece of fused light green material also found near by, originally belived to be glaze slag, may insted be over heated tannur brick .rd H625 .ri jo f 32 ds Tree stones sizes 33x54cm, 42x20cm and 38x30cm, located at the NW corner of a5, stone 2 is 120cm from the southern end of k2, and stone 3 is 144cm from also the southern end of k2. f32 leans againest a5's bricks but niot associated with (sketch 4) a 5 dy Appeares to be 2nd mil. tomb, maybe semelar toto A8 MZ9 tomb, f33 1st uncovered then f37 and f38, f36 is the fill in between the walls f33,f37 and f38 f 33 ds Eastern wall of a5 formed of two rowes of bricks, f33 is the widest wall in combarison to f37 and f38
