-dy Today, we excavated the northern baulk of k11 and the eastern baulk of k12.  We also continued within k89, in what we believe to be the original topsoil, before dirt from our own excavations covered it.  In that area, we exposed an extremely red square in the middle of a black circle, which we believe to be a pit with possible brickfall inside of it, or perhaps the clay cover over a burial.
