The bottom of the pit, here choked with rubble, is better shown in A14t24. k 100 nl In a previous note, I stated that we had discontinued k100, which is true, and that we would use k1 feature numbers to describe it from that time on. However, we assigned those numbers only as we excavated them, while other areas and numbers were left alone. Therefore, the area of excavtion on the southwest side of the pit a4 is still identified as k100 in templates (for example, t108 and t111) and has kept its original feature numbers, and will continue to do so until it is excavated again, at which time new k1 numbers will be assigned to each of those features.
