Adnan is working there today. To the N of f50 is f51 which now appears to be accumulation on top of a pavement, f53. k 12 dy There are two walls which form a corner of a room which faces south. Hussein and Ramadhan are digging in the acccumulation inside of this room. In the last three hours since the beginning of excavation they have dug about 20 cm. -sg We began this morning with the consideration of taking photographs to document all of the concepts that we had talked about yesterday with gb, particularly the gully wash and the path of the gully. This secondary path of the gully appears strongly in k3 and k4. f 45 df ad ds appears to be gully wash. This observation was first suggested by fab on L702 and then seconded by workman Abdul Karim. It consists of soft grey dirt with a high proportion of sherds and pebbles. It is distinctive from f41 next to it. f 41 df ac ds hard grey accumulation with small pieces of brick and kiln waste. The accumulation bisects the square diagonally, from the NW corner to the SE corner, with indistinct edges. It is bounded by the north and east baulks and by f45 to the S and E.
