The sherd layer consists of a number of large sherds fitted together on a flat surface. There are too many sherds and sherds from different vessels to be a pot smash. Although it isn't entirely clear that this is a floor, it is a distinct layer with a southern boundary of wall f136, but with no clear boundary to the north. tc ab f136 f 135 df fi ds In burial aggregate 7, f135 is the fill and f165 is the cut. This burial is found in the northern half of k3, with the northern end next to the baulk. This is the burial of an adult, probably male (because of the size). The skeleton i47 was very well-preserved, and there was particular care given to excavating and preserving it. The skeleton was in fetal position, with its head facing north and the body facing east. Within the burial was found a Khabur period jar, i48. f 135 tc re f165
