The idea is to show the indentation of the pit in a corresponding way with the ab'e. At first f481 seemed more of and indentation and have a possible significance with the indentations in the ab'e. It has turned out to simple be a pit however. v 209 ds this view is a closeup of f454 the sherd layer. At first this appeared only in the s section of f420 the trench. But as we dug f451 a cut appeared to the west and f454 extended also to the west along the length of the entire locus. v 195 ds shows a closeup of a34 the jar installation. It is contained in the fill, f411 and bounded to the s by wall f458 and to the west by wall f413. f411 is seen to the east in the baulk and it is assumed the rest of the room will appear when this is removed. v 196 ds this shows the cuts of the kiln waste, f399. This is contained on the n by a cut with f373 which has become f420. In section it is still possible to see the sherds of the beginning of this f399. Above it the accumulation was more like f372 to the s, below the sherd level, it is more like the accumulation to the north, but the cut still seems to exist. Came down on sherds seen in section in of bin, f155. It is a small layering of sherds but does not appear to be a floor. We have named this pc f430. v 200 ds shows a closeup of the red ashy layer, f451 underneath the accumulation, f450. It is very clear and is even more visible in v200a. To the east is the trench f426 and to the north is possible red brick floor, f452. In this area we found the beads, i260.
