-sg in the first hour of the morning we employed the team working in k15 to clean up the stair. In this way JJJ took a picture from the eastern side of then trench and we'll be able to have a sketch for the dots that we have to put for bP. On the other hand we employed the team working in k14 to clean k4 and k5 for the pictures of the long eastern section.

-wk we moved Safwan which worked like shovel man in k43 to k83 where is working as pickmen. By this way with two pickmen we hope to be able to reach the steps as soon as possible.

k 14
dy we removed part of the eastern section (f35 , q133 and q137) making a ramp to facilitate the passage of the wheelbarrow. Tomorrow we'll level all the surface to reach a uniform height in all the squares of the area to take a picture of a presumably horizontal plan with the eroded stones.

k 15
dy we are going down with the excavation of all the surface of the square, also in the south-eastern corner, where the German trench has its end.

k 33
dy we are going down living a space of about 1X1 for f54 in all the square (f61, q130). In the northern part of the square, very close to the northern baulk we found a concentration (aggregate) of stones of big sizes collapsed form the north. Between the stones we noticed the presence of pottery sherds. We collected them as a q-item (q136.1) since we would like to try to fit them. We are going on with excavations dividing the square in two parts: western half (f61, q136) and eastern half (f61, q141).

dy we are going down digging a new feature (f60, q129 and q140). We changed feature since in this layer we do not notice the presence of ash which characterized f59.

dy we are going down in all the square removing the layer below top soil (f57, q128).

dy yesterday we plotted the two eroded stones  and today, after the picture, we removed them and the soil pedestal where they stayed (f51, q135). On the other had we are going down with excavations in the southern part of the square (f51, q132) reaching the lower steps.

dy we are going down trying to reach, as soon as possible, the steps. We are excavating the feature below top soil f62, q131 in all the square and f62, q142 in the northern half.

dy  after faidos we tried to use the elevator. It worked just for half an hour but we lost more than an hour since the workmen moved from k33 to the elevator and again from the elevator to k33. For the moment I prefer to go down with the squares instead of employing two teams for the elevator since we are loosing much time without results.
