Since f50 was not removed, we cannot provide at present a proper definition for this type of accumulation: however, f50 was covered by a natural accumulation (f7) and due to the fact that in the squares around k71 and within this locus we have found -at the same elevation- features which are natural accumulations, we suppose that f50 could be a natural accumulation. The nature of this accumulation, however, will be better defined when we will investigate this feature in the next future. f50 follows the slope of the tell mound, and therefore there is a difference in elevation between the top elevation of the feature in the N and S portion of the locus. nr The type of contact between f10 and f50 is not clear at the moment, and can be cleared only by further investigation in the locus. At present, we suppose that f10 rests in f50. f 51 df ad ds f51 has been assigned to the cleaning of k82 and of the N portion of k83. These loci have been already investigated in the 2002 excavation season by mH and aP (as visible in J02t061, which shows these loci at the end of the 2005 excavation season). f51 is the accumulation which build-up in the portion of these loci in the last two years, and was approximately 2-6 cm thick. No pottery sherds have been recovered while cleaning k82 and of the N portion of k83. ;J02t061 V17d0211 f 56 df ad ds f56 has been assigned to a natural accumulation in k74. It is compact in consistence, once picked it has a platy structure, once removed it has a very soft and loose texture; it is light brown in color. f56 is the same of f36 directly above. ;and rich in pottey sherds____ma NO q-LOTS! f 57 df ad ds f57 has been assigned to a natural accumulation in k64. It is a compact sedimentation that presents patches of very soft soil; generally it is very soft in consistence and is characterized by a loose and very fine texture, it is clayish (it leaves color on fingers), and dusty when removed. f57 is the same of f38 directly above, and it is the same of f37 in k63, f36 in k74 and f35 in k62. f 151 df st ds f151 has been assigned to a large limestone found in k61, close to the N section of the locus (r135). f 153 df st ds f153 has been assigned to a small-size limestones found close to the NE portion of k72 (r138) while removing f63. f153 abuts f162, the bricky accumulation (part of wall f161) in the NE portion of the locus. f 156 df is ds f156 has been assigned to 5 small stones in the NW (f156.1, f156.2) and NE (f156.3, f156.4, f156.5) section of k100. The stones seems to be part of a stone installation, which has a W-E allignment. However, the nature of this stone installation is unclear, since does not seems to be related with any structure in the nearby loci. f 158 df ab ds f158 is a very fine and clayish accumulation in k100. It is characterized by the presence of brick fragments, which are concentrated in a small area close to the N section of k100, as visible in v85. The feature is very compact and hard in consistence, but, once removed, it is very crumbly; among the soil matrix stone fragments (small in dimensions, some of which were aprox. 10cm), chalcite pebbles and phytolits have been noticed. The feature slopes toward the S portion of the locus, and the difference between the top elevation in the N portion of the locus is of 13cm respect to the top elevation in the S portion of the locus. ; its top elevation, close to the N section of the locus, is m4502 -55 -166, while close to the S section of the locus is m4502 -68 -166. f 159 df w ;ds f159 has been assigned to an aggregation of some limestones which have been exposed next to the N section of k61 (r144, r145, r146, r147): these stones could belong to a wall structure, running SW-NE.
