This feature presents patches of compact and soft soil, when picked it is crumbly and a bit dusty when removed; being right below the toposil layer, f88 is rich of pebbles, stones and rooths. ;nr scrivere che abbiamo smesso di scav in questo square ;el not excavated@bottom ;wm MISSING ;c# MISSING el We stop digging f88 at the elev of 9129, which is not the real bottom of this feature P99 Not completely removed in the 2006 excavation season f 84 el not excavated@bottom f 138 ds This feature number has been assigned to a temporary baulk within k84, which divides the southern from the northern portion of the locus. This feature is the same, stratigraphically, of f87 and f88, the natural accumulations dug in the northern portion of locus k84. These accomulations are all wind- and waterborn accumulations. f138 is very crumble and soft in consistence and is rich in pebbles and pottery sherds; once removed with the big pick, it presents a crumbly structure and is a bit dusty. In spite of the fact that this portion of the locus, kept until present, as a baulk consists of the sum of all the features dug in k84 (such as, f87, f88), we did not remove them stratigraphically once removing this baulk, because the features that build-up this portion of the locus are all very similar among them, being all natural accumulations (wind- and waterborn). We thus assigned a feature number to the baulk (being aware that, as such, f80 is an an 'artificial' feature) in order to keep track of the pottery and of eventual q-items or items recovered while removing the accumulations that build-up this portion of the locus hd crumble tx fine, dusty wm clay loam with pebbles, stones and roots ;wm MISSING ;c# MISSING co light brown ;U304 NON è coperta da nessuna feature perchè è la parte di k84 che è più alta perchè non scavata da Minna f 90 wm silty clay hd very compact tx very fine ;el 90.84 (not real bottom of f)@bottom P99 Partially removed f 91 df st ds f91 has been assigned to a isolated limestone in k74; it is 80cm west of m4294. wm limestone co whitish P99 Removed Q903 f 92 P99 Removed Q903 f 93 ;el not excavated@bottom wm mud brick hd very compact tx very fine P99 Not removed in the 2006 excavation season ;bin similar to structures found in A15. f 94 df mix ds This feature number has been assigned to the E baulk of k81. This feature consists, stratigraphically, of f15 and f17, the natural accumulations dug within locus k74 previously, which are brick melted accomulations. f94 is crumble and soft in consistence and fine in texture. ar Being f94 -stratigraphically- the 'sum' of all the features dug in k74 (it consists of f15 and f17), and as such f94 is an 'artificial' feature, this feature number will not be included in the Strata Assignment. For this reason we will not have a contact association between f94 and other features, but we will keep into consideration and correlate only the features dug within k81 with other features on the basis of the(ir) elevation. ; NOT TRUE: No pottery sherd and no rooths here, is almost on top of w129! and staircase 130. This feature number has been assigned to the E baulk of k82. It is crumble and soft in consistence and fine in texture. This feature consists, stratigraphically of the natural accumulations found within locus k82 (f51 and f75), located slightly north to the remainin portion of the W baulk of k83. ; f94, being exposed since the 2004 scavation season, is crumble and soft in consistence and fine in texture. ar We assigned a feature number to the cleaning of the E baulk in order to keep track of the pottery recovered while removing the small portion of the E baulk of k82 (which is, mainly, some cm of soil abutting J02w^129 and the starcaise J02f130. As such, f95 is an 'artificial feature' and for this reason, this feature number will not be included in the Strata Assignment and we will not have a contact association between f94 and other features. ;errore in original file pC file from pC: No pottery sherd and no rooths here, is almost on top of w129! and staircase 130.
