ds f169 is a natural accumulation below f116 and f166 in k70, as visible in v67. The feature is crumbly in consistence and is characterized by a very compact soil which is hard to remove. While digging this feature he presence of small irregular stones mixed within the soil matrix have been noticed; these were concentrated especially in the topmost surface of f169 in the NW portion of the locus. No pottery sherds have been recovered while digging this feature.

nr f55 is characterized by the presence of bricks fragments, as visible in v100, due to the fact that f55 is a feature belonging to the erosion of the tell surface; the presence of melted bricks could be related with the fact that probably the erosion of the tell mound is mixed with structures perhaps located ad higer elevation in locus k62-k72,k73 or k63 or with part of the accumulations belonging to 'dump^1', a brick-melt accumulation, that interested J04 unit in the Late Mittani Period.

ds This feature number has been assigned to the cleaning of the small small portion of the E baulk of k83 still present in the south portion of the locus. This feature consists, stratigraphically of the natural accumulations found thorughout the whole J04 area at this elevation, which are mainly wind and water-born accumulations. The portion of the E section of k83 left in the south portion of the locus, as visible in v26 is very small since this locus is interested by the cut of T10, a trench dug in the 2001 excavation season during a survery of the tell mound by a team of the university of Tubingen, directed by Prof. Peter Pfalzner. The section has been exposed since the 2004 scavation season, and the soil is crumble and soft in consistence and fine in texture.
ar We assigned a feature number to the cleaning of the E baulk in order to keep track of the pottery recovered while removing the small portion of the E baulk left. As such, f52 is an 'artificial feature' and for this reason, there will not be any contact association between f94 and other features.
