There is no justification or rationale for this determination. In fact, this feature was assigned to stratum s720-J5B which is well supported by both its place in the built environment as well as ceramics found nearby at its base. Clearly f41 was constructed in the EDIII period. tc ab f267 f 267 ds This small group of fist-sized stones fills a gap between wall f41 and the western component, f265, of the EDIII stone escarpment, ^escarpment 1. It was necessitated by differences in the curvatures of the two main stone structures. Structure f267 should be treated as a part of the stone escarpment.
