-dy Today we finished removing the last 10 cm of the W baulk of k85, f19; we continue excavating in k85 f33 and f35. I decided to put the team of Su'ar in k74: after a pickrun it was a problem for the wheelbarrow to remove the dirt, because k74 is deep (was excavated in 2006 as J4), so I decided to remove the east baulk of k74. In k65 Ibrahim and Fahed continue to remove f31. In k200 cJC continue to supervise the area collecting pottery and giving q-lots.
-eq yesterday we get the shaffat to remove the dirt from k200. We get 4 new shovel. Today a Wheelbarrow was not working well.

k 84
dy k84 was excavated in season 2006: it was separated in two loci: k84 North and k84 South. The southern part was left higher and the Northern part was dig together with k83 south; from this two half squares we made a new square J4k100 which was a deep sounding into the temple mound.
dy Today i decided to move Su'ar in k84 and begin excavating here: being the removing of the dirt difficult from the top of the baulk, i decided to remove the east baulk of k84 (which is a half baulk, partly removed in season 2004 as J4), which is f34.

k 85
dy Today aKarim and Táer finished to remove the West baulk f19. Then he removed f33, which was still very soft when picked and fine in texture, very dusty when removed. They exposed a nice surface of compacted soil with some patches of softer soil: this surface had some sherds liyng flat, some pebbles, ashes and brick crumbles. I decided to expose all and to make a picture, which is v19: a big smooth and flat stone came out under f33. The new feature is f35 and has a lot of pottery and is soft and dusty when removed: there is no clear interface between f33 and f35: the difference is that f35 has more pottery and pebbles and is more reddish.
