There seems to be brickfall in all of k74. Nevertheless, the area of f64 has bricks in an much more organized pattern. When we removed the top 10 cm of f64 we found almost no pottery, bones or inclusions. f 65 nr Towards the bottom of f65 there were reddish brown pieces of clay with very sharp faces. We kept some pieces for a q-item. It seems that the character of the feature changes slightly approaching the bottom. f 71 df ly ds Very hard material with an uneven surface. Appears to be brickmelt It covers half of k75. It is light gray/brown in color. There are very few defined bricks. It may be the same layer as f72 in k74. f 72 df ly ds In the southern portion of k74 it was darker brown with a reddish tint. It slopes to the south and the south part is much harder, light gray and much more like brickmelt. q 113.3 ct ca q 119.2 ct ca q 119.3 ct ca q 124.2 ct ca q 129.1 ct laf f .ri hQ 69 84 bf m4867 149 154 cl 70 85 ly m4806 69 144 m4804 76 149 cl .ri cJC 71 75 ly m4864 137 163 cl very light brown hard 72 74 a m4870 79 165 cl .ri pC 73 74 ab m4870 59 134 cl light yellowish brown 10YR6/4 hard fine ;74 entered independently by pC q .rd S728 .ri cJC 92.1 wh 4 6 cl brown well preserved wheel .ri eA 92.2 kw 4 3 cl gray 105.1 uk 9 13 10 gray fragment of cement 105.2 gr 5 12 12 st gray fragment of a grinding stone .ri cJC 102.1 gr 6 8 6 st brown broken grinding stone .ri eA 113.1 kw 3.5 1.5 1 cl black 113.2 ax 7 12 4.5 st brown perhaps ax .ri hQ 113.3 uk 7 cl dark gray .ri eA 116.1 kw 3 2 2 cl green 119.1 gr 12 brown A part of a grinding stone .ri dH 119.2 uk 5 7 4 cl light brown fragment of an animal figurine 119.3 uk 3.5 5.7 3.5 cl light brown fragment of an animal figurine .ri eA 121.1 kw 6 4.5 4 cl green 121.2 fg 6.5 4 4 cl brown fragment of an animal figurine 121.3 jar cover 6 cl cover 120.1 fg 3.5 5.5 4 cl fragment of an animal figurine .ri hQ 90.1 cement cement Four pieces of ancient cement .rd S729 .ri dH 124.1 kw 1.7 3.9 3 cl green kiln waste 124.2 uk 1.2 3.5 3 cl gray/brown two fragments of a clay artifact (unknown) with flat planes. When we went deeper in this feature we had gray patches and some white inclusions. Inside the hard soil we had a round white soft patch almost 50cm in diameter, probably ash. f 70 ds it sits in f60 and covering part of k85. f70 is soft brown soil with big chunks and few hand size rounded stones; but the surface of this feature was compact surface with some completed bricks. k 85 dy we started digging f70 which was not covering the whole locus. Part of the western part of k85 is f60. f70 is divided into 3 parts, the nothern part consists of completed bricks. The eastern part of f70 is divided also into the southern part which is very compact but flat and smooth (probably because of the stone f40 which we removed); and the nothern part is a brick melt.
