Iconographic definition, generic 2025-11-20 mKB two animals standing on their hind legs face each other. The one on the right has a long tail and possibly a design of hair on the body and top of the head so might be a lion. The one on the left has a short tail and slightly rounded lower body and upper part of the legs; this animal is probably a caprid. Between the two are unclear objects and above the heads is an unclear round object. Behind the right animal is a human with a knee length skirt and holding a long spear which is raised toward the animal in front of him. The legs of this figure are positioned to show that the figure is in movement toward the animal and so is clearly part of the combat. [Input: ZJy20mKB A16si.J]
Iconographic description, generic 2025-11-20 mKB animal and human combat scene [Input: ZJy20mKB A16si.J]
Style 2025-11-20 mKB The heads of the two animals are shown in profile which have a circular or semi-circular shape' the only detail of this profile are the mouths also in profile. The profiles are filled with one eye which has a dot in the center. The animals bodies show a long neck and full body but the legs are thin straight lines as is also the tail of the animal on the right. The human is depicted in a similar manner with a profile head, but the inner part of the head with probably the eye is missing. The arms and legs as well as the weapon are depicted by thin lines. Each figure in the scene is independent and carved in an individual space set aside in the composition for it. An unclear rectangular object separates the two animals and a round unclear object separates the upper part of the animal heads. [Input: ZJy20mKB A16si.J]
